Corporate charity

Showing respect towards our local communities and the wider world, reflects LGC’s core purpose of Science for a Safer World. We actively encourage colleagues across the company to support our communities through our corporate charity and site-based events.

We support a charity chosen by our employees for a two-year period. We raise funds for charities that demonstrate links to our business activities and have an international reach to reflect our global footprint. Donations to our chosen corporate charity are being boosted by LGC matching any funds raised through team-building events.

Throughout 2021-2023, our charity fundraising supports Coalition for Rainforest Nations, which assists tropical governments, communities and peoples, to responsibly manage their rainforests. Healthy rainforests protect against a changing climate, generate needed biodiversity and provide safe habitats.
