Kelly, Custom Oligo Customer Service Representative
What does your current role entail?
I am responsible for processing orders for custom oligonucleotides. This is a varied role that requires me to deal with customers regularly and ensure their orders are entered into the sales order system.
What do you most enjoy about your role?
The ability to help customers find solutions as well as guide them in any issues or problems they may be having. Knowing that I have helped customers make their day or project go a little smoother brings me job satisfaction.
What has been your proudest moment at LGC?
I was proud to receive the LGC Recognition Award for Values. During the shutdown following the Sonoma County fires, our site volunteered to come into work over weekends and evenings to ensure that we met the expectations of our customers as quickly as possible. The fact that LGC recognises its employees' work and dedication makes it worthwhile.
